Table Manners

It is very important to us to have dinner together as a family every night. During family dinners, we like to talk about our day--the best parts, the worst parts, and what kind things we did for others during the day.

Dinnertime is also a great opportunity to instill some manners in our girls.
Here's what they learned tonight:

People with gold teeth are cool!!!

How funny! I just had to comment--we, too, believe it is very important to have dinner together as a family. I also try to instill some manners in Erin and Ryan at this time every night. With a six year old little boy, you can imagine that he does not see the importance of this the way I do. I am glad to see I am not the only one with these struggles!!!:)

I was reading this and Lilly walked by and said "oh my gosh - what happened to her teeth"! You fooled us! I tell you - I also was a firm believer in dinner together as a family but unfortunately that is rare. Obviously we don't have Rodney home right now - but we are gone 3 nights out of the week. I just try to improvise the best I can. We spend so much time driving that I utilize those opportunities too. Since Lilly will be driving very soon those days will come to an end soon!

I love it, it's just the type thing me and my dad would come up with during dinner!
