We can hardly believe our "baby" is old enough to be baptized! Emily's baptism was on Sunday, August 16, 2009. She looked beautiful in her special dress. My mom made this dress for my baptism (MANY years ago), and all three girls have now worn it for their baptisms. I am so thankful for Emily and for her decision to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

(in case you're thinking, "Jenn doesn't look too good," you're right! I got the flu that weekend and woke up with a 102 degree fever Sunday morning. We couldn't postpone it so, needless to say, I stayed home from church and just went for the baptism---trying to stay away from everyone else!)

We had planned to have a luncheon at our house following the baptism like we did for the other girls (gotta keep things even, right?), but with me getting sick, we brought everything to the church and had lunch there. The food and company were still good!

nice occasion- I have a picture of your Dad with one of my kids for their baptism since he was Bishop then.
