Growth Charts

Emily

Shelby

Abby

The girls and I have been wanting to make these growth charts since the middle of the summer, but we (or I should say, I) just haven't made the time till now. The weather has been so nice in the evenings lately that I finally got them outside to paint. They all had a great time making their own. I just bought these thin strips of wood that we are going to hang on the wall in the laundry room to measure them as they grow. This way if we ever move again (which I pray we won't) we can take them with us. Now all that's left is for Trav to find time to help me hang them level--hopefully that won't take too long! :)

Yeah, I really like that idea too. I had one something like that on a piece of trim from a door frame, but it broke, and now I can't find it. That would be a cool idea for Enrichment Super Saturday for those who have kids. How long did you make them? Hope your having a good day. HUGS, Amy ;)

Such a cute idea. I have been thinking about doing something like this... I really need to get on it. THey grow bigger everyday. OKay so the memo boards I made, I actually bought the frames at Ikea, which includes all the instructions.(Actually is meant just for a plain piece of fabric.) Then I added batting and hot glued ribbon and then sewed buttons on. Its actually really simple and if you don;t have an Ikea by you you really could just use 4 pieces of wood.
