On Thursday, we all got up at the crack of dawn (actually it was earlier because the sun wasn't even up yet...) to head over to Wild Adventures in Valdosta to get tickets to that evening's Country Rat Pack concert. They were giving them away free to season pass holders on a first come, first served basis, and we wanted to be sure to get good seats! So we were over in line at 8:00 and waited until 10:00 for them to start passing them out. Then we went back to Thomasville for the day till Trav got home from work, and then we all headed back to Valdosta for the concert. It was quite a bit of work, but well worth it! We got 2nd row tickets, and the concert was really good! I think Shelby enjoyed it the most--Abby and Emily are still mostly into Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers, but we promised them that if either of them ever came, we would suffer through for them! :)
They did an acoustic set--not a drum set in sight, but plenty of guitars and fiddles--in a very casual setting. They were talking in between the songs about themselves and each other. It was really neat to hear their stories and about their families, how songs came to be written and recorded, etc. A great family evening!

What devotion, but it sounds like it was well worth it! Glad you had a wonderful time. The pictures are great! :-)
such close ups- you must have had great seats!
That looks like a lot of fun. The boys would have loved it.
