Volleyball

We have just started going down to the church every Thursday night to play volleyball. It is such a fun family activity! Volleyball is the one sport where I don't feel like a complete loser! The missionaries in our ward started it up as a way for us to fellowship with new members or to meet people they are teaching. Our first Thursday there, it was so cool--we were just about to start playing when a woman walked into the building and said that she was wanting to learn about the church and was anyone there who could talk with her. We were all so glad that we were there on a Thursday night! (Usually the building is locked up on Thursdays) So the elders made an appointment to meet with her on Tuesday night. What a cool feeling!
This past Thursday, Shelby brought one of her friends from school who told us on the way home that she wants to come every week. We have such a fun time playing and laughing together--it's awesome!
