This picture is from our Family Home Evening last Monday night. While waiting for mom to finish getting ready, Shelby decided to give Papa a new hairstyle! She was quite giggly about it, and fortunately Papa didn't mind having his photo taken even when I told him it would probably end up on the blog. What a good sport!
We had a great lesson from Abby on faith and she told us a sweet story from a new book Grandma and Papa brought back from Idaho for the girls.
Last night for Family Home Evening, we were able to have the missionaries and a young man who is learning about the church over to join us. It has been a while since we have been able to have a "missionary experience" and we had such a fun evening! What a sweet Spirit comes into our home when we are teaching and learning about the gospel!
I am so thankful for the Family Home Evening program that we have been taught. I am happy that there is a time reserved each week for us to gather as a family to learn, sing (sometimes off key), and have fun together! As we rapidly approach those trying "teen" years, I am so thankful that this program will help keep our family anchored to the gospel and to each other.

Half the fun of FHE is our off-key singing time. We always laugh! I love all of your posts Jenn! We have been taking the discussions with Sean's cousin, Terriann, and her hubby, and they are getting baptised on FRIDAY! What a blessing it is to watch someone open their heart and accept truth!
