Travis, Abby, Emily, Elder Johanson, and Elder Spendlove are putting down some sod that Travis got for free from someone he knows from work. It sure is hot out there, and we appreciate their service!
... And Shelby and I are inside making a dessert from a recipe Shelby found in this month's Friend magazine. It took us about an hour and a half to make and then it needs to go into the refrigerator for 4-6 hours. After all that, it had better be yummy!

That sounds like my perfect day! Yardwork being done by others and me in the kitchen! Lucky you! And lots of luck tomorrow with school starting. We go back on Wed. We need to get together so badly. The summer flew by as usual. Maybe when the kids have a day off?
It was a nice day--and the dessert was pretty good! Thanks for the luck with school. I think that I'm always as nervous as the girls on that first day. And I am not looking forward to mornings starting at 5:30 again! I was spoiled with 8:00 (or later) mornings all summer!
We DO need to get together! We'll have to compare school schedules soon!
