Regional Science Fair

On February 21st, Shelby got to compete in the Regional Science Fair. It was held at ABAC (Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) in Tifton. She had to be at school at 6:30am to catch the bus (quite a fete for us, but we made it!) and got to miss the entire day of school. While there, they got to tour the campus, have lunch (a buffet which she LOVED!!!), meet other students, etc.

We were able to go go over that afternoon for the awards part of the fair. We were so proud of Shelby! She received a 2nd place ribbon, and although she won't be competing at the state level in Athens, she learned a lot and is very excited about entering next year's science fair.
