Emily's school, Garrison-Pilcher Elementary, had a Winter Wonderland dance in January for all of the kids that had met their AR (Accelerated Reader) goal for the second quarter of the year. I was able to help set up for the dance and attended it to help with the refreshments. The kids all had a blast, and it was as much fun to see the teachers and administrators out there dancing, too!

The night before the dance was supposed to be a freezing one, so they left the sprinkler outside running all night, and when I got to the school, this is what the courtyard looked like. Isn't it beautiful?!? It was right outside the cafeteria windows, so there was truly a "Winter Wonderland" feeling!
