Character Kid

Emily was chosen as one of the Character Kids from her class for this past month. There is a celebration in the cafeteria and they get to go up front and hear great things about themselves. This is Emily's second time being chosen as Character Kid this year! We are so proud of her!

The character words for the month were: Respect for the Environment, Respect for the Creator, and Gratefulness. Here is what Mrs. Baker, Emily's teacher, said about her: "Emily was voted by her classmates to be the Character Kid for the month of April. Her friends said, 'She always shows gratefulness by saying thank you whenever she borrows or is given something.' They also said, 'She takes care of our environment by keeping it clean and picking up trash without being asked.' Your teacher and friends are very proud of you!" Mom and Dad are proud of her, too!
