Dude...we're getting a Dell!

Well, we finally "bit the bullet" and ordered another computer the other night. I am quite excited and cannot wait for it to get here! Through Trav's work, there is a program to buy computers at a discounted price. So we got on the website ("just to look," of course) and ended up buying one that will hopefully last for MANY, MANY years!

I had been on the phone earlier that evening with a very nice young man from India for about two hours, and he still couldn't fix the problem--not for lack of trying, though. We couldn't get our Windows Installer to work, and so therefore we cannot install anything onto the computer. We found this out as I was trying to hook up the ipod I got for Christmas, and couldn't install itunes--I could download it, but the computer wouldn't let me install it, which is kind of a problem, ya know?!

We've had this computer for almost 7 years now. Travis got it from his former employer, and it probably wasn't a great one to start with, so we are looking forward to the upgrade!

We are hoping to have it either the end of next week or the beginning of the following week. Hopefully we'll be able to get everything hooked up and transferred over okay. We're not the most technically savvy people in the world...
