A Fun Fourth!

We had such a great Independence Day! The girls and Trav spent most of the day together golfing, but when they got home, we had a traditional Fourth of July meal. We roasted hot dogs over the fire pit and had yummy slices of fresh watermelon and topped it all off with some apple pie. A super meal!

After dinner, we went down to Remington Park for the festivities there and to watch the fireworks. One of the many things I love about Thomasville is that every time we go somewhere, we ALWAYS run into people we know. Here is a picture of Abby with two of her friends from school. Once again the fireworks were great, too!
After Remington Park, we went back to our house to light off some of our own fireworks (on a much smaller scale). The girls LOVED the sparklers. as usual!

Here are mom and dad getting ready for our "show."

It looks like you all had a great holiday. I have yet to be able to get my pictures from the beach on my blog. Hopefully tonight. I also like seeing people I know when I go places here in Thomasville. I like your fire pit, did you all build that? I want to build one in my backyard someday. It is neat, and everyone is so nice. I hope you have a good week.
Love,
Amy and the boys

I can't tell you how much we have heard about your family, I feel like I already know you! Nic, I mean Elder Johanson :) thinks the world of you guys! THanks for watching out for him. It was also great to see pics of him because he has only sent home pictures once since he has been out. :( Give him a big hug... well, hand shake from me :)
Your girls are cuties! Isn't blogging amazing how it can bring people together.
THanks so much for saying hello... don't be afraid to say hi anytime... I know I'll be peeking at your blog often!

Tiff told me about your comments on her blog and so, of course, I went to your blog to sneak a peek of my boy!!!! I feel like I am being so sneaky!!! It was so fun to hear from you. Like Tiff said, we hear alot about your sweet and fun family. I just hope Nic (Elder Johanson) works diligently to accomplish the work that he has been sent to do. We are loving this mission thing!!! Well, I had better be running....and I do mean running. I am off to Girls Camp this morning!!! Thanks so much for all of the love you give the Elders. I know that it does not go unnoticed...on SOOOO many levels.
